Our first public event as a member of the Luxaviation family is in the books. And by many indications, the relationship is off to a very positive start.
EBACE 2015 in Geneva marked a major milestone for ExecuJet as the industry for the first time learned more about our joining Lux and a glimpse into our future plans. As a result, the ongoing consolidation of the European charter market was a major topic of conversation. To mark our transition to the Luxaviation team, we displayed a Luxaviation Group logo at our booth and offered visitors some branded Lux macaroons (called “Luxemburgerli”).
ExecuJet executives from Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, Latin America and Africa were at the show. We were proud of four big announcements we made at EBACE, which garnered considerable media attention:
Again this year, our annual soiree at EBACE was a major highlight of the event. This year, the entire ExecuJet team gathered at the Umami in Hotel President Wilson in Geneva on Wednesday night for some food, bubbly drinks, live music by Vincent Kessi's Fellowship Band, celebration and a lot of fun. The private event hosted 250 industry professionals for networking, socializing and a lot of dancing. On a personal note, it was also enjoyable and rewarding to reunite with and, in some cases, meet for the first time, many of our new Lux colleagues, and spend time with them in a social setting. To see a full gallery of photos from the party, visit ExecuJet’s Facebook page.
ExecuJet also received strong traffic, both real and virtual, during EBACE. Our Facebook page, for example, was viewed by over 10,000 people during the event, and some 800 people visited our booth. .
Thanks to all at ExecuJet who worked so hard to make EBACE 2015 a great event and a huge success for our partners, clients and colleagues. The event was truly a pleasure and we are already looking forward to EBACE 2016.
