Dean Hawkins prepares for the London to Paris Bike Ride for the Alzheimer’s Society
20 - 24 April 2016
ExecuJet’s Dean Hawkins, Continuing Airworthiness Manager based in Cambridge, will be undertaking one of the great cycle experiences in Europe - cycling from London to Paris. Passing through picturesque Kent countryside, Dean will cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France. With long days in the saddle and some strenuous hill-climbs, the sight of the Eiffel Tower, the finishing point, will evoke a real sense of achievement.
Dean’s four day cycling efforts will raise funds for Alzheimer’s Society, an organisation that passionately believes life doesn't end when dementia begins. Alzheimer’s Society are dedicated to improving the lives of people with dementia and supporting those who are directly affected by the progressive disease.
All funds raised for Dean’s London to Paris Bike Ride will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society. If you wish to support Dean’s epic adventure, you can make a donation on Dean’s JustGiving page by clicking HERE. Any contribution will be gratefully received.
