December 2018 - AIN Online - ExecuJet Set for New Dubai South FBO and MRO

xecuJet is poised to begin construction of its new Middle East headquarters facility at Dubai World Central’s Dubai South area. The Luxaviation subsidiary (Stand 598) recently finalized contracts with the airport authority on three plots of land, totaling approximately 5.5 acres (22,558 sq m), where it plans to build a new, more-than-$30 million FBO and MRO complex.

Since the opening of the new airport, business aviation companies have been either relocating their facilities, or in the case of ExecuJet, which has long had a presence in Dubai, establishing additional facilities.

December 2018 - AIN Online - Dubai Executive Office Waives Fees To Spur Bizav

The Dubai Executive Council, the Dubai government’s leading policy-making body, over the summer announced a package of service-fee reductions aimed at cutting the cost of doing business in the emirate, and aviation fees were a prominent feature on the list.

“To develop Dubai's aviation sector, we are canceling 19 fees related to the aviation industry and to aircraft landing permits...Dubai is a global hub for the industry and our hard-won position in this sector needs to be strengthened,” Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, who leads the Executive Council, wrote on social media on June 6.

December 2018 - Emirates 24 - Dubai Airports And ExecuJet Support Two Disabled Aviators On Quest To Pilot Around The World

Dubai Airports, Execujet and Lions Clubs International officials gave a warm Dubai welcome to the two determined aviators who are piloting small aircraft around the globe in a bid to raise awareness for the inclusion of People of Determination (people with disabilities).

The project, organised by Lions Clubs International, has a clear objective of globally promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities to combat discrimination and to raise funds for the association Humanity & Inclusion. The two pilots, South African Mike Lomberg and Guillaume Feral from France - both of whom use wheelchairs, will cover 80,000 kilometres in nine months across 40 countries and six continents via 150 staging points. The support team to this initiative are all former members of the Solar Impulse Project and all volunteers.

December 2018 - AIN Online - Execujet Haite Gets Aruba, Bermuda Maintenance Nod

Execujet Haite, the China-based aviation maintenance joint venture between ExecuJet Aviation and Tianjin Haite, has received maintenance organization approval from the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) and the Aruba Department of Civil Aviation (ADCA) to provide full maintenance services at its MRO facility at Tianjin Binhai Airport.
